The Institute was well represented on 18 November 2015 as SAIC marked it’s first anniversary by bringing together key aquaculture stakeholders to explore an agenda for aquaculture growth and sustainability in Scotland.
Keynote speaker was John Swinney, Deputy First Minister of Scotland, and there were also presentations from the CEOs of Scotland Food and Drink, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).
The Institute was an exhibitor and received very favourable feedback on the information provided. We were also represented by members of staff and our student population.
At the event two of the projects funded involving Institute staff were presented with commemorative plates.
Pictured are Professor Herve Migaud and Dr Sonia Rey along with representatives who helped on the exhibition.
